The Holy Spirit’s Role: Stuck With Me for Good

The Spirit never clocks out or walks away. Explore how His unshakable presence transforms your life with power, love, and lasting peace.

Let’s close this out honestly: I can be a handful. Bold, eccentric, rebellious, full of ideas that sometimes run ahead of reality. But through every season, career & life transition, entrepreneurship….the Holy Spirit hasn’t just endured me. He’s transformed me.

Romans 8:11 says: “The Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you.” That’s not poetic fluff. That’s raw power! Resurrection power living in me, shaping me and carrying me when my own vision burns out.

And here’s what I’ve learned:

  • My stubborn independence becomes holy boldness.
  • My rebellious streak becomes courage to live differently.
  • My wild vision becomes kingdom dreaming.

Yes, I may still try to blend in when I was created to stand out.

Yes, I sometimes argue with God like a lawyer cross-examining a witness.

But the Spirit doesn’t flinch. He doesn’t roll His eyes and say, “She’s too Aquarian for this.” He stays, He works and He delights.

His “job description” is unlike any other. He is my Counsellor, my Advocate, my Friend, my Power, my Truth, my Comforter, my Guide all rolled into One. And the contract is sealed in Christ. He can’t quit and He doesn’t want to.

So while I sometimes complain about my earthly job descriptions, the Spirit never complains about His.

He endures with patience! He empowers with joy! He transforms with love!

Knowing → Being  Doing

The more I reflect on this, the more I realize His “job description” reshapes mine.

  • Knowing – The Spirit teaches me truth and reminds me of Jesus’ words (John 14:26).
  • Being – The Spirit transforms who I am: turning quirks into courage and stubbornness into strength.
  • Doing – The Spirit empowers me to live it out in business decisions, in leadership and in the quiet moments when no one is watching.

So while I may complain about my own job descriptions here on earth, the Spirit never complains about His. He knows me, He shapes me, and He empowers me to do what I was created for.

And because He does, I can keep moving forward flawed, eccentric, Aquarian me confident that I am never ever alone. That He will never leave me nor forsake me!

Purpose in the Fight: Lessons from Spiritual Warfare

Sometimes in life, we come to a point where we feel an undeniable pull to pursue what’s deeply embedded in our hearts. It’s the dreams we’ve carried for so long, the purpose we were created for, the longing that whispers, “Now is the time.” But stepping into that purpose isn’t always easy. It often means facing challenges that test our faith, resilience, and spiritual strength. I recently found myself in such a battle, one that opened my eyes to the reality of spiritual warfare and how it intersects with the choices we make to follow our calling. What transpired wasn’t just a series of events but a profound experience that taught me about rising above unseen battles with faith, prayer, and discernment.   A Dream That Spoke of Challenges One night, I dreamt of a curled-up snake. It was still, lying in my path, almost as though waiting to strike. Instead of being overcome with fear, I leapt over it and moved on. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but as I reflected, the imagery beg...

I AM GRATITUDE

GOD~GRACE~GLENDA~GRATITUDE~GREATNESS   The belief that "everything is part of God’s plan and works together for my good" has been a guiding force throughout my life. There have been times when the bigger picture seemed unclear, and challenges felt overwhelming. Yet, I’ve learned to trust those moments, knowing that God’s plan unfolds in ways we cannot always see. As Ecclesiastes reminds us, "He has made everything beautiful in its time." This powerful truth has taught me patience and helped me recognize that even life’s difficulties have purpose.   Last year, in particular, was a season of immense challenge. I faced trials that stretched me in ways I didn’t expect, but I now see how those moments were part of God refining and shaping me. Where there was uncertainty, He provided direction. Where there was hardship, His grace carried me through.   Living with Purpose Each of us is entrusted with a unique calling, a "God-given task" meant to bring light and m...

Embracing Transformation: Overcoming Procrastination and Self-Sabotage en route to Return2SELF

There comes a time when we find ourselves standing at the crossroads of transformation and self-discovery. It is easy to become our own harshest critics, placing limits on the love we deserve due to perceived flaws that only we can see. However, this internal battle often leads us down a path of procrastination and self-sabotage, even when everything seems to be going well. Through meditation and reflection, I've found inspiration in “my manual,” which calls for liberation from presumptuous sins—those negative thoughts that bind us. Imagine working tirelessly towards your dreams only to stall at the finish line because you suddenly doubt your capabilities! This is what happens when we fail to recognize the power of our words—what you say about yourself matters because you're listening too. As I sat in meditation this morning, reflecting on Psalm 19:13, it became clear that much of my self-judgment stems from what can be described as presumptuous sins—those subtle yet pervasive ...
