Lift Your Eyes: Real-World Faith When You Need It Most

Have you found yourself staring at a challenge that feels far bigger than your resources?

No matter how strong, skilled, or resourceful we are, there are moments when we run up against our limits…be it in launching a business, pursuing excellence at work  or seeking to reconnect with our authentic selves.

Psalm 121 has been echoing in my heart for weeks now, gently nudging me to remember a profound truth: My ultimate help flows from the Divine presence within me.

Today I want to use the KnowingBeingDoing® framework to draw hope and actionable steps from Psalm 121 empowering you as an Entrepreneur, a Marketplace professional or someone returning to the heart of who you truly are.

KNOWING: Find Your Source of Strength

God is not only able, He is ever present. Your journey doesn’t depend solely on grit, performance or background. When you know God as your Helper you stand on a firm unshakable foundation.

  • Entrepreneurs: The market is ever changing. But your true edge is knowing your help comes from the Source that never changes. God gives you creativity, wisdom and stamina beyond what any trend can offer.
Practical step: Start each day journaling one way God helped your business or dream.
Affirmation: “I am guided and resourced by the Creator of all innovation.”
  • Marketplace Professionals: Promotions, targets and recognition can feel like shifting sand. But your worth is secure in God who watches over your every step.
Practical step: Write down your wins big and small and thank God for His steadying hand.
Affirmation: “God defines my value. I am seen, protected and purpose-driven.”
  • Spiritual Seekers Returning to SELF: Healing and growth require good courage. The LORD your God as your shade and protector is with you in moments of doubt or pain.
Practical step: Reflect on a past moment of grace and how it shaped you.
Affirmation: “God is with me on my return to authenticity. I am nurtured and sustained.”

BEING: Live with Confidence in Divine Presence

Knowing shifts your identity! Being means letting God’s promises become the lens through which you see yourself and your challenges.

  • Entrepreneurs: Lead with peace, not panic. Even when a deal falls through or plans shift unexpectedly, you can trust God is present in every detail.
Practical step: When anxiety hits, breathe deeply. Choose one stressor and hand it over in prayer.
Affirmation: “My venture is watched over; I embody clarity and peace.”
  • Marketplace Professionals: Integrity is your anchor. Being aware of God’s presence empowers you to act honestly, even when shortcuts beckon.
Practical step: Before big meetings or tough conversations, pause and let His Presence go before you.
Affirmation: “I am calm, grounded and I shine with authenticity at work.”
  • Spiritual Seekers: Embrace patience as you come home to your truest self. God never sleeps on your journey.
Practical step: Daily, give yourself permission to rest and celebrate progress, however small.
Affirmation: “I allow myself to grow gently, knowing divine support surrounds me.”

DOING: Activate Your Faith in Daily Choices

Faith is a verb…trust becomes real as you act on it. The promise is not just for thinkers and dreamers, but for doers.

  • Entrepreneurs: Take bold and wise action. Pitch > Plan > Innovate > Solve. Whether it’s sending an email or launching a big initiative, do it prayerfully and with confidence.

Affirmation: “Every step I take is protected. I move forward in partnership with God.”

  • Marketplace Professionals: Excellence honours your calling. Let your faith show in your work ethic and your refusal to compromise on integrity.

Affirmation: “I serve with excellence and courage, reflecting my faith every day.”

  • Spiritual Seekers: Transformation comes with consistent, gentle action.

Affirmation: “Each day I take loving action toward my true self with God’s help.”

Keep Your Eyes Lifted

No matter where you are building an enterprise, steadying your career or nurturing your soul remember you do not walk alone.

Psalm 121 isn’t just ancient poetry. Your hills are no barrier for the God who made them.

Embrace KNOWING: Acknowledge your true source.
Embody BEING: Let faith shape your identity and presence.
Engage in DOING: Let your trust move you to bold and meaningful action.

Keep your eyes lifted. Your help is already on the way.

Purpose in the Fight: Lessons from Spiritual Warfare

Sometimes in life, we come to a point where we feel an undeniable pull to pursue what’s deeply embedded in our hearts. It’s the dreams we’ve carried for so long, the purpose we were created for, the longing that whispers, “Now is the time.” But stepping into that purpose isn’t always easy. It often means facing challenges that test our faith, resilience, and spiritual strength. I recently found myself in such a battle, one that opened my eyes to the reality of spiritual warfare and how it intersects with the choices we make to follow our calling. What transpired wasn’t just a series of events but a profound experience that taught me about rising above unseen battles with faith, prayer, and discernment.   A Dream That Spoke of Challenges One night, I dreamt of a curled-up snake. It was still, lying in my path, almost as though waiting to strike. Instead of being overcome with fear, I leapt over it and moved on. At first, I didn’t think much of it, but as I reflected, the imagery beg...

I AM GRATITUDE

GOD~GRACE~GLENDA~GRATITUDE~GREATNESS   The belief that "everything is part of God’s plan and works together for my good" has been a guiding force throughout my life. There have been times when the bigger picture seemed unclear, and challenges felt overwhelming. Yet, I’ve learned to trust those moments, knowing that God’s plan unfolds in ways we cannot always see. As Ecclesiastes reminds us, "He has made everything beautiful in its time." This powerful truth has taught me patience and helped me recognize that even life’s difficulties have purpose.   Last year, in particular, was a season of immense challenge. I faced trials that stretched me in ways I didn’t expect, but I now see how those moments were part of God refining and shaping me. Where there was uncertainty, He provided direction. Where there was hardship, His grace carried me through.   Living with Purpose Each of us is entrusted with a unique calling, a "God-given task" meant to bring light and m...

Embracing Transformation: Overcoming Procrastination and Self-Sabotage en route to Return2SELF

There comes a time when we find ourselves standing at the crossroads of transformation and self-discovery. It is easy to become our own harshest critics, placing limits on the love we deserve due to perceived flaws that only we can see. However, this internal battle often leads us down a path of procrastination and self-sabotage, even when everything seems to be going well. Through meditation and reflection, I've found inspiration in “my manual,” which calls for liberation from presumptuous sins—those negative thoughts that bind us. Imagine working tirelessly towards your dreams only to stall at the finish line because you suddenly doubt your capabilities! This is what happens when we fail to recognize the power of our words—what you say about yourself matters because you're listening too. As I sat in meditation this morning, reflecting on Psalm 19:13, it became clear that much of my self-judgment stems from what can be described as presumptuous sins—those subtle yet pervasive ...
